Position: Part-Time Nanny for a Family in Deerfield (Kids: 5 and 2, with a newborn due in March 2026)

Description: Family with a 5 year old daughter and a 2 year old son are looking for help on Mondays and Wednesday from 8-4 and an additional day to help around the house.

Their daughter (5 year old) is in school everyday from 8-3. Their son (2 year old) is in school Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. The family is looking for a nanny to engage with the children and be a help around the house with kids' laundry, dishes, organizing and keeping the house tidy.

This family values a nanny that is attentive to the children with an eagerness to engage with them. In June, the position can switch to a full-time guaranteeing 30-40 hours/week as the family will need additional help with the newborn.

Responsibilities:

• Driving kids to and from school and activities

• Preparing lunch/snacks for the kids

• Washing/sanitizing bottles

• Household tasks such as laundry, dishes, meal-prep, and tidying around the house

• Providing a supportive, engaging, and dependable presence

Sample Schedule to begin:

• Work Hours: Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

• 2-Year-Old: Care provided on Mondays and Wednesdays

• 5-Year-Old: After-school care provided

Compensation: $25- $30 per hour, averaging $500-$600 per week (20 hrs/week) and increasing to $750-$1200 per week (30-40 hrs/week) in June. Guaranteed vacation pay, 2 weeks of PTO (1 chosen by family, 1 chosen by nanny), weekly pay and mileage reimbursement provided.

Notes: Nanny must be willing to undergo a background check, a non-smoker, complete reference check, be CPR certified, have newborn experience, clean driving record, and have a personal vehicle (ideally an SUV).
